From augmented reality to live video streaming, real estate agents will find fresh ways to reach customers with new high-tech marketing tools.
Forbes.com recently featured several online marketing trends expected to dominate in 2017, and three could have a direct impact on real estate sales:
- Live video streaming: Faster Internet speeds have ushered in an era of live video from social media, and it's now easier to reach potential clients with, for example, a homebuyer seminar conducted live that includes a way for viewers to ask questions in real time.
- Data visualization: Your business may soon want to start using data visualization tools to your advantage. These tools use data to paint a picture of who's buying what, when, why, and what message works most effectively to reach them. The tools help interpret the data used in your business.
- Virtual reality: VR, or virtual reality, can create 360-degree videos that make users feel as if they're actually inside a listing. As VR headsets become more readily available, more real estate professionals are finding ways to use them in their business. VR holds several potential real estate applications, like helping a person experience a home that hasn't even been built yet or experience a remodel before they've actually done it.
