Golf Course

While Cresswind DeLand does not have its own private golf course, residents who enjoy the game have no shortage of options in Central Florida. There are three in or near DeLand that are public 18-hole championship golf courses: Victoria Hills, Deltona Club and DeBary Country Club (semi-private). 

Clubhouse Features

The Clubhouse at Cresswind DeLand, overlooking Lake Winnemissett, will be the hub of social and recreational activities. Cresswind DeLand boasts about their "EGYM" training technology helping residents achieve their fitness goals in twenty minutes, twice a week! Cresswind DeLand is located on the eastern shore of Lake Winnemissett, known for its crystal clear, spring-fed waters. Residents can enjoy the beautiful lake view from Cresswind's private dock and gazebo and also catch and release fishing. Or venture out on the lake for skiing, tubing or sunset cruises. Within the community you can stroll along nature trails and wide walkways.

Just outside of DeLand, there are two state parks not to be missed. Hontoon Island State Park, only accessible by private boat or park ferry, has a 3.4 mile nature trail for hiking. Visitors can also spend time cycling, kayaking, fishing, hiking, camping, picnicking, and simply enjoying nature! Bue Spring State Park is a stunning oasis of clear water and greenery in Central Florida. Visitors can swim, snorkel, or scuba dive in the 72-degree spring. And you'll definitely want to visit in winter, when you'll see as many as 500 manatees gather here during cold snaps.
